Lapis-Backed Golden Rutile Earrings

These stones are so spectacular.  Shiny golden streaks on a dark blue background.  They're a doublet -- high quality golden rutile placed on equally high quality deep blue lapis, then ground to perfection.   

If you were looking at these in my studio, I'd tell you point blank that the stones were expensive, so the earrings are, too.  That said, it's unlikely you'll ever see another set of earrings quite like this.  

1.75" long.  Made of 100% sterling silver.  Brushed finish.
